I don't have one now, but growing up we were big on breakfast and had one. We really liked it. It was very easy and from what I remember it was easy to clean because the waffle generally comes off in one piece and takes all the batter with it...unless some spills down the side. Ours simply had one light on top, that would go off when the waffle was ready. Mmmmm this is making me hungry... I'd say go for it!
We have one and we love it. Ours cleans easily and has worked for 16 years. We would replace ours. They are great family gadget to have!
why waffle when you can have a pancake. the waffle maker is a chore to clean when batter spills on the sides and another gadget to store. and you know I love gadgets .. also .. you only cook one at a time ... with so many mouths to feed ... it would take a long time fixing breakfast for everyone.
maybe we should buy seven.
7 waffle makers may be the key to feeding the Reynolds in a timely manner. It would be one way for breakfast to end .. clean up ... then begin again with lunch. Otherwise it is breakfast.. no break and right into the lunch hour! Good thinking Jake!
I actually just got rid of mine, partly due to a small kitchen in our near future, but partly because it was a hassle to clean. It only made one waffle and waffles seem to cool faster to me than pancakes all stacked up and buttered.
Hmm...thats sounds prefect for a Sunday dinner...
