Death awaits us all.

So, what do a Harvard Professor, The President of the United States, and a Cop have in common? Aside from the beer, they will all die and be judged by God, who is no respecter of man nor does he play favorites!

The Darling of Heaven is Jesus Christ our Lord. Without this Savior there is no hope for any of them nor us.

Good post Christie! I agree with you as a general rule for mankind "and it is appointed for men to die once " Hebrews 9-27, rare exceptions Lazarus, Enoch, Elijah,
However I humbly disagree with you as far as the policeman, Our current president, and the professor, who knows they may get the Call, Your father in law got the call on a fishing bridge between Gulf Breeze and Pensacola in May 1998. They may be snatched away (raptured) " that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, 1 Thess 4-15, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Also 1 Corin 15-51 says Behold I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep. (sleep meaning a common euphemism for death) but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet. The absolutely best news "looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Your dad was correct, the cop just did his job but the ruler of this world knows all people are born in a lost state, and the devil knows that he wins by default by causing mankind to waste time thus he can achieve victory over the masses. Those of us in Christ, are not of this world and are just pilgrims passing through like the morning mist and must be ready for boxing day when our earthly tent returns to the dust and our spirit goes home to be our the Lord, the exception being the rapture, What a wonderful time to be alive and witnessing prophecy at warp speed.
